Good, cheap, large portion and comes with a drink. Love it. Only bad thing is if you are in a wheelchair and this place does have an elevator. If it broke down its bad. So watch out if you are using wheels.
Reasonably priced HK cafe that's basically no frills in the service department. Things happen at a fast pace here and it's emphasised with quick turn over. Goodmranges from average to above average, with the Chinese breakfast set being a good highlight. The congee is really well done. Come for the food, expect prompt and rushed service.
Food is great, portions are large. The price has just gone up a bit but it still worth it. Their baked dishes are the best.. especially the baked curry pork with rice, so far it is the best one i have ever had. The milk tea is also pretty authentic. This place has been my to go place for lunch on the weekends. But expect to spend some time waiting for seats.
Cantonese style restaurant located in Richmond center area. It's approximately 5 mins away from the Sky train station. No reservation is required for most of the time. Free parking available.
For $10 you get portions that can feed two regular sized meals. Awesome value. In terms of dirty washrooms and mediocre service - welcome to a Hong Kong style restaurant! Basically like how it would be if you were to enter a typical local Cha Chang Teng on the streets of Hong Kong.Their menu also has over 100+ items for you to choose from, you'll never complain about having to eat the same thing ever again!
Service is bad, food is okay. But this place is super busy. The 4 dishes we ordered only the pork cutlet was worth mentioning. Maybe it was because it's fried. Everything else was okay and nothing special. Lemon ice tea here is 6 out of 10. Watered down tea with ice, sugar and lemon. I guess if in a rush and need parking it will be here cause parking is abundant. Area is packed with cars.
I paid over $18 for lunch. It included a paper-thin 'round steak' which was some kind of mystery meat. As well there I had chicken wings which were somewhat edible. The rest was spaghetti, which was chopped up and very bland. I mixed this with their store bought gravy, which made the spaghetti taste awful.
A good HK-style cafe that is within an affordable price range. Usually would to for the breakfast special. Prices has gone up in recent years.
One of my favourite HK cafes. Good quality. Friendly service and good portions at reasonable price. Lots of parking available. Renovated a few months ago.
Their spaghetti and meat sauce is amazing! Spaghetti made by most HK style cafe is usually overcooked and super soft, but this place made it just perfect! Service isn't that great but for the spaghetti I'll go back.
If you like the hk style cafe, this is the place. HK milk tea, breakfast.... Good food with reasonable price
Best baked Curry pork chop on rice ever
Great food choices, great service, still open for takeout during COVID 19. Owners and staff always very pleasant and friendly. Love it here!
Can't beat the price for what you get. Friendly no frills kind of place but food is always good.
Decent food and pricing. Have been their customer for more than 10 years now...
HK style cafe is getting fewer and fewer and price is going higher and higher. Food quality remain the same with smaller portions. ☹️
. Loved the foods here and the prices are reasonable.
Large portion, reasonable priced, taste average. A good place to spend time with.
Food was ok, price was ok, nothing special. The usual Chinese cafe style
Baked Porkchop on rice ($9.55) was good and the lemon tea ($0.75) was okay. The drink tasted somewhat artificial and too sugary. Service was just average. This placed looked so dirty seeing piled dishes down the halls, yuck. I'm not sure why they pile them instead of putting them by the kitchen? The washroom was dirty too. I was looking for Alleluia Cafe at first, but went to Enjoy Cafe for not paying attention closely. Cash and debit only!
Good deals for when short on cash. One of the few places that are open late in Richmond. Nice and roomy.
This is one of my favorite places to come for casual dining. The food comes in decent portions and never disappoints. I've been coming here occasionally for many years. I would recommend their mix and match combination menu. The only downside to this place is that the parking lot gets full quite often especially during afternoon.
Forgot my order while they bought my friends. Also made a mistake with the bill. Food was good but two stars for errors
Been eating here since high school, love the portions!
The fried rice cake “Shanghai “ style is just so yummy.
Food is always great. This is my goto place for Hong Kong style comfort food.
Steak combo is tasty and reasonably priced. Service and atmosphere is comparable to other Hong Kong style cafes in the area. Overall, a good place to eat, especially for late night meals.
My usual hon for HK style food (mainly the 3 item combo plate). Food is similar to other HK restaurants. If you come before 9pm, they do charge an extra $1 for many of the menu items. Ample parking in front of the restaurant. Lots of space for large groups.
Okay this place isn't pretty. It's a step up from a hole in the wall. However, the service is efficient, the food comes out quick and tastes good, and portion sizes are fairly generous.Prices are average. Big menu.
Good during pandemic times. Took down name and phone number when arrived. All staff wear masks. Menu is the take out menu. Distancing tables. Plexi glass present
Breakfast can really be improved. The coffee is light and the beef in satay beef noodle soup is not tasty. Lunch is great especially the baked curry pork chop rice and the beef stew with veggie fried noodles.
Good value for $, generous portions
Made an order through Uber Eats, they made the wrong food! One of them had broken chicken bones mixed into the rice! Chicken was extremely dry and broken!
A HK Cafe probably was a goto place in the past. But it is truly dated in there, food was mediocore at best, drinks were not great. Restrooms were filthy, needs proper maintenance. Wasnt very costly but if you go at night everything is a dollar more. For what its worth there are better hk cafes around especially in richmond.
Good food and good service with cheap prices
Great value, always delicious food.
Cheap. Good foods. But don't expect good service too much
Used to come here regularly. Food is average, but used to be great value (big portions, free cold drink), best bang for your buck; until recently when they jacked up the prices. Now it's just average.
Acceptable food/portions, but atrocious service. The waitress came to take my order and walked away as I was about to speak, pushing my order past 6 pm, meaning they were able to deceptively charge an additional fee. I asked for water 3 times before it arrived. Waitress did not appear to understand English , and I had concerns about communicating my food allergies. Also did not accept credit card.
One of the remaining richmond local HK style cafe..lots on the menu from baked rice or pasta..to club house sandwiches to fried noodles and friend rice dishes...kids friendly ...lots of parking...friendly service
Cheap and great food, always comes here for family dinner.
Be prepared to see a slightly higher bill than what you were expecting. In tiny print at the bottom of the menu it mentions there is a surcharge for purchases made after 6pm. Despite arriving at the restaurant at 5:45pm, they still applied the surcharge. Deceptive practice and disgraceful that the staff and manager thought nothing wrong when I brought up the complaint.
Overall is good, need renovation though
In terms of food, one of the best HK cafes around. But expect a wait.Service is okay, seating is not the most comfortable but all these factors can be overlooked for the food. The portions are very generous.Parking is a pain.
Large portions , but quality of food is really low
If u are looking for an inexpensive meal and good portion, this is a good place.
Would consider take out from here. Definitely would not come to eat here by choice. The service is a 0.5/10. The only person on point with a service attitude was the bar tender. The female server was the complete opposite. Rushing us to order, ridiculing our accents, and then vanishing on a private phone call leaving us without a server. I decide to call in the next morning to find some resolution to this. Ended up getting the female server from the night before on the phone and I’m literally told to “go die and find my mom”. I actually recorded the video of the phone call and really you shouldn’t be treating your patrons like this. What if it was a little kid who called in and your staff said that. If you are the owner and you see this, you can reach out to me here or on yelp. I won’t let this go.
Good deal, Hong Kong style... But not very clean since it has been there for a long time.I judge the restaurant by their facilities. Sorry if this doesn't raise your appetite.
Bring your own containers for tomorrow’s lunch as the portions are generous. Late night menu starts at 9:00 and there is no extra charge for cold drinks.
Food quality is good for a well priced HK cafe! Service is good for a HK style cafe too.Spaghetti was good softness, sauce was flavourful and not too oily, pork was tender and well cooked. Drinks were good too. I would recommend this place!
